Top left corner of your Webpage grabs attention first – make perfect use of this!
When a user visits a web page, he starts looking from top left corner and then moves to other parts of the page.
So here comes a handy tip:
Use the top left corner of your web page to place the most significant value proposition when you design a website

Look below. This is Gutenberg Diagram that describes the pattern that most of the eye follow while looking at a web page.

The diagram shows that bottom right zone or the Terminal Area is the place where you should put your Call-to-Action button.
Terminal Area is a more efficient section to put your Call–To–Action because the user is finishing reading/viewing the web page. It is thus the right time to induce the reader to take the required action.
The user does not have to search the call-to-action button. Moreover, even if the user were not likely of hitting the call-to-action, you would be prompting him to do hit the button by placing it cleverly in this zone.

As mentioned earlier, today users are very quick – they will not prefer waiting for a site that takes several minutes to load. Users do not want to waste a single second in finding data. So to create a pleasant experience for your user it is important that your website be quick to load and navigate further.
Internet giants pay much attention to the speed of the site.
Firefox found that a 1-second increase in page load time has decreased conversions by 2.7%.

Amazon found that 100 ms of latency cost them 1% in sales, and every 100ms increase in speed equals 1% revenue increase.

A professional website is not one which is full of informative texts and graphics. A professional website is one which has information and is pleasantly laid out on a web page.
A web page full of text will not be pleasing to the readers eyes. Having space in between the text, images, and other elements is vital.
Businesslabs.org makes proper use of white space between the header and the footer and the content in the center. The typography used might be similar but the most important aspect – the sections are clearly visible, and the layout appears roomy – has been met.

Considering that a web page has proper calls-to-action at desired places, there’s hardly any need for “your cart is empty” on the web page.
Avoiding clutter and putting the right links at the right places has high chances of transforming your visitors to customers.
A cart is a useful tool but “your empty cart is empty” is an unpleasant distraction for the user who knows that he has not selected any product yet. Instead of emphasizing on this prompt, web designers should pay more attention to other more relevant calls-to-action.
It is like stuffing the web page unnecessarily when you can place more important links there. For example links like “Getting Started” or a link to your High in demand and Top-rated products will help your visitors spend more time on your website.
Fifth Key to Design A Website: Place important content above the fold
Yes, we all know how to scroll a web page and look for information beyond the fold. However, the fact remains, we are more interested in what the 1st fold has to offer.
